Xenons S1600 Single Pass is an industrial digital printing system developed for high speed production of packaging, cardboard products, paper bags and advertising materials. The machine uses Single Pass technology, in which the image is printed during one movement of the material beneath a stationary line of printheads.

Key features and technology
Unlike conventional multi pass printers, the printheads do not move repeatedly across the surface of the substrate. The material is transported beneath the printing unit on a precision conveyor belt, allowing the image to be applied continuously. This solution significantly increases production efficiency and reduces the time required to complete large print runs.
The integrated Epson i3200 piezoelectric printheads provide precise ink placement, accurate reproduction of details and consistent colour registration. Variable droplet technology produces smooth tonal transitions, sharp small text and rich colours while helping to optimise ink consumption.
A conveyor belt with adjustable vacuum ensures stable material transport. The system holds lightweight, thin and movement sensitive substrates securely in place, including paper bags, envelopes and unfolded cardboard packaging. This helps maintain accurate print geometry during high speed production.
The machine works with professional RIP software for managing print queues, colour settings and ICC profiles. Operators can prepare consecutive jobs efficiently, control printing parameters and optimise the use of consumable materials.
Depending on the selected configuration, the Xenons S1600 Single Pass can operate with water based pigment inks or UV printing technology. This allows the system to be adapted to the type of substrate, production requirements and expected durability of the finished print.
Applications and printing capabilities
The Xenons S1600 Single Pass is designed for businesses producing short, medium and high volume print runs that require fast artwork changes without preparing printing plates. Digital technology allows production to begin without the setup costs associated with offset or flexographic printing.
